“I have had no problem whatsoever using the iWALK2.0 on steps – not at all! I would be afraid to do steps on crutches, and there is no way a knee scooter could take those stairs”
Age is just a number, and nobody proves that better than our customer Harry Ellison. At 73, he is proof that the iWALK2.0 is the best device for any person, regardless of their age, who wants to live an independent and fulfilling lifestyle!
“I don’t have a lot of experience with crutches, the only time I used them was walking to the car to go to the hospital for my surgery. The walker I was sent by the hospital is still in the box, and I have had no need to have use it. I was also sent a knee scooter, but it only gets used to scoot quickly over to the phone when it rings. They sent me all these devices, but I already had my iWALK2.0, or what I call my aluminum peg leg, so I don’t need the other devices.
I use my iWALK2.0 to get the newspaper everyday, and it works great to get me down the set of stairs to my yard and going up with my newspaper. I have had no problem whatsoever using it on steps – not at all! I would be afraid to do steps on crutches, and there is no way a knee scooter could take those stairs. I also use the iWALK for longer trips, but when I’m around the house I don’t even need to strap it in, which is one of the best things about it!
I still love it and am just as impressed with the iWALK2.0 as I was from the beginning. I put it together the first day I got it and watched all the videos before using it. While it is very important to pay attention to the key points in the videos, after watching them, learning to iWALK goes very very smoothly. Making adjustments is easy and using the straps is very simple. I have recommended this to many people – including the doctors and nurses who worked with me during my surgery!
